Jonathan Blanchard Cook Oratorical Contest

The Annual Jonathan Blanchard Cook Oratorical Contest will take place. The contest is a persuasive speaking competition open to all Wheaton undergraduate students.

After an open audition, five Wheaton student finalists are chosen to give their 10-minute persuasive speech and vie for a monetary award of $350. The contest is a unique opportunity for the cultivation and testing of skill, plus, the speeches are entertaining and provocative for the audience.

The public is welcome to attend this free event. It takes place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall. For more information, call the Communication Department at 630-752-5095.
