History of Christianity Lecture by R. Ward Holder
Wheaton College offers a History of Christianity Lecture titled "Calvin, Tradition, and the Church: An Evangelical and Reformed Perspective."
Historical theologian R. Ward Holder will deliver the lecture. Dr. Holder is a professor of theology at Saint Anselm College. He has authored and edited numerous books on Calvin and The Reformation. His current work focuses on Calvin's use of the theological tradition as a source for his own doctrinal formulations.
Free and open to the public, this lecture is sponsored by the Biblical and Theological Studies Department, M.A. History of Christianity Program at Wheaton College. It takes place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall. A reception will follow the lecture. For more information, call 630.752.5197.
