"Writing a Global History of Evangelicalism"

 


The Institute for the Study of American Evangelicals (ISAE) at Wheaton College presentsa lecture by Dr. Mark Hutchinson titled "Writing a Global History of Evangelicalism." The lecture takes place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall on the Wheaton College campus.


Hutchinson is a ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­historian at the University of Western Sydney in Australia. He co-authored A Short History of Global Evangelicalism (Cambridge, 2012). In Thursday's lecture he will discuss the historiographic and conceptual challenges involved in grappling with the development and maturation of the worldwide evangelical movement.
