"Omega-3 Oils and Their Role in Human Health" by Dr. Jørn Dyerberg
Dr. Jørn Dyerberg will deliver a lecture titled "Omega-3 Oils and their Role in Human Health" at Wheaton College.
Dyerberg, professor at the University of Copenhagen, is one of the world's leading authorities on the health benefits of Omega-3 fish oils. Recognized internationally for his expertise in Omega-3 research, Dyerberg's work appears in more than 350 publications. His lectures have attracted scientists, medical professionals and industry leaders from around the globe. In 2007, he was honored by the American Heart Association in "Recognition of Outstanding Scientific Contribution for the Advancement of Heart Health Worldwide." In 2008 he received the American Dietetic Association Foundation's prestigious Edna and Robert Langholz International Nutrition Award. Dyerberg is co-author of Missing Wellness Factors: EPA/DHA: The Most Important Nutrients Discovered Since Vitamins (Basic Health Publications, May 2012)
