Woman Charged With Exploiting Elderly in Wheaton: Police Blotter

THURSDAY, SEPT. 12
Two Charged With Marijuana Possession
Police charged 18-year-olds Corey L. Frazier, of the 300 block of Geneva Road, Glen Ellyn, and Lafeldric S. Henderson, of the 1300 block of South Lorraine, Wheaton, with possession of cannabis. Frazier and Henderson were arrested at 9 p.m. at Briarcliffe and Lakecliffe.
Also arrested was Brandon Z. Collins, 18, of the 1100 block of Rhodes Court, Wheaton. Collins was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. All three teens were released later that day.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 11
Exploiting Elderly
Wheaton police charged Rhonda Y. Arnold, 44, of the first block of Woodlawn Court, Lombard, with felony financial exploitation of the elderly. Arnold was arrested at 10:20 a.m. Sept. 11 in Downers Grove, according to a police report.

Arnold is accused of exploiting elderly at unspecified times between July 1, 2012 and Oct. 10, 2012, on the 400 block of County Farm Road, police said. After her arrest, Arnold was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and taken to the DuPage County Jail, where she was later released. Her case is due back in court Oct. 21, according to county records.
Cannabis, Drug Item Possession
Police charged Nicolas E. Glucksmann-Kuis, 50, of the 1700 block of Walnut Street, St. Charles, with possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a suspended driver's license. Glucksmann-Kuis was driving a dark green 1995 GMC Jimmy at 7:29 a.m. at Blanchard and Coolidge when police initiated a traffic stop. Glucksmann-Kuis was released from the Wheaton Police Department later that morning.
MONDAY, SEPT. 9
Battery Charge at DuPage County Courthouse
Police charged Joseph M. Ammendola, 48, of the 3S500 block of Route 59, Naperville, with battery. Ammendola was arrested at 10:05 a.m. at the DuPage County Courthouse, 505 N. County Farm Road. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
