Wheaton Man, 19, Charged With Child Luring, Pornography

Eric Pence turned himself into Wheaton police after an investigation led to charges of child pornography and child luring.

Police have charged a 19-year-old man with child pornography possession and luring a minor after an investigation that started with a 12-year-old's parents' complaint, according to a press release from the Wheaton Police Department.

Eric Pence, 19, of the 0-100 block of Circle Avenue in Wheaton turned himself in to Wheaton police Friday, Sept. 7, according to the release.
 
He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and transferred to the DuPage County Jail, where he remains on $200,000 bond. 

He is charged with on count of child pornography possession, one count of child luring, one count of traveling to meet a minor and one count of grooming, according to court records.

Pence is scheduled to appear in DuPage County court Monday, Oct. 1.
