Wheaton College Tiffany Memorial Lecture on Foreign Affairs
Geopolitical
analyst Robert Kaplan, will deliver this fall's Tiffany Memorial Lecture on
Foreign Affairs at Wheaton College. The lecture is titled "The Revenge of
Geography:What the Map tells us about Coming Conflicts and the Battle Against
Fate."
Mr.
Kaplan currently works as chief analyst for Stratfor, a private global
intelligence firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. He served on the Pentagon's
Defense Policy Board from 2009 to 2011 and has been a foreign correspondent for
The Atlantic for nearly three decades.
Established
in 1952 in honor of long-time Wheaton history professor Orin Tiffany, the
Tiffany Memorial Lectures exist to promote interest in and understanding of
international affairs.
The lecture takes place in room 145 of the Meyer Science Center. It is free and
