Rich Abanes, Neighbor

I've enjoyed a very eclectic career as an author and journalist. My numerous books cover a wide range of issues: world religions, racism, pop culture, holiday traditions, destructive cults, church history, and the entertainment industry. For my work on "intolerance" in North America, I remain grateful for having received an award from The Gustavus Myers Center for the Study of Bigotry and Human Rights. I also very much enjoy being a film/Theater critic in Chicago.
