I am excited and honored to serve on the board of directors for Friends of DuPage County Animal Care & Control (Friends of DCACC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing unwanted and abandoned animals in DuPage County with a second chance at life.
DuPage County Animal Care & Control is leading the way in creating a pet-friendly community in DuPage County. But there is still much work to be done. OUR MISSION: To support compassion toward all animals in the care of the shelter. OUR VISION: DuPage County will be a community where all pets have a home. We aim to help DuPage County Animal Care & Control: Become the foremost resource for people considering a new pet or looking for help with their current pets Inform the public of the important work being done by DuPage County Animal Care & Control Provide people of all ages with educational opportunities to experience and understand the commitment and compassion that will benefit pets, their owners and the community Champion the humane and compassionate treatment of ALL animals Combat the problem of pet overpopulation in and around DuPage County and promote the programs that will alleviate the overpopulation problem By providing the resources that its normal operating budget cannot furnish in order to help enhance and grow Animal Control’s many programs and services I am excited about the important work ahead of us and hope you’ll join us in making possible the day when all animals have a loving home where they are treated humanely and compassionately. Let’s work together to save our shelter animals!
