Wheaton North's John Peltz Commits to Wheaton College
Wheaton North High School quarterback John Peltz has committed to play football and baseball at Wheaton College in the fall.
Wheaton North High School quarterback John Peltz will continue his family's tradition of competing in Thunder athletics at Wheaton College as a quarterback and third baseman next year. Peltz signed with Wheaton College on Thursday, relieved to officially know where he'll play next year. "I'm just, overall, excited to finally get the decision out of the way... It's kind of a big relief. I'm really excited to play baseball and football (there)," he said. Peltz will play under his uncle, head coach Mike Swider and his dad, defensive line coach Jeffrey Peltz, and he'll reunite with his cousin, freshman inside linebacker Mike Swider, who played with Peltz at Wheaton North.
