Witnesses Describe 2 Suspects in Armed Bank Robbery

FBI provides description of two suspects in downtown Wheaton bank robbery. One of the men showed a handgun, according to FBI.

The FBI is investigating after an armed robbery Tuesday at West Suburban Bank, 221 S. West St. in Wheaton. At about 5:30 p.m., the two men entered the bank and announced a robbery, according to an FBI press release. One of the men showed a gun. The men then went to employee areas of the bank to take money from the safe and teller drawers, according to the release. They left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured, according to the release.  Witnesses at the scene provided the descriptions of the men. The man who was reportedly armed, according to the release, was a black male, 5'6"-5'8", medium build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black boots, black mask and black gloves.
