District 200 to Host 2012-13 Budget Hearing
The budget hearing for the 2012-13 school year is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 in Warrenville.
The District 200 Board of Education will hold its public hearing on the budget for the 2012-13 year at its meeting at Bower Elementary School Wednesday night. District officials expect to post a balanced budget, up 2.47 percent from FY12. Projected operating revenues and expenditures are $150,116,590, excluding Bond & Interest and Site & Construction figures, Bill Farley, assistant superintendent for business operations told board members at a July 18 meeting. The district has negotiated contract renewals with First Student Transportation, GCA Custodial Services and Veolia Waste Removal at no extra cost, according to the District 200 website.
