Hot Mama, a women's clothing store targeted to moms, will open Wednesday, April 17 in Town Square Wheaton.

Women's clothing store Hot Mama will open at 121 Town Square Wednesday, April 17, and celebrate its grand opening until April 21 with a sale and giveaways to early customers. Nothing Bundt Cakes Partners With Sensory Garden Playground for Grand Opening

Nothing Bundt Cakes will donate 20 percent of its proceeds to the Sensory Garden Playground project to help bring an inclusive playground with features designed for children with special needs.

Newly opened Nothing Bundt Cakes this weekend is celebrating their grand opening by donating 20 percent of their sales to the Sensory Garden Playground, a project in the fundraising stage for an inclusive playground with features designed for children with special needs. Nothing Bundt Cakes opened earlier this month at 421 Town Square Wheaton, and will celebrate its grand opening Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. Representatives from the Sensory Garden Playground, which will be built at Warrenville Rd. and Naper Blvd. in Lisle, will be on hand 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to answer questions about the project, according to a news release from the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA). 'Flash Mob' Nabs Over $1,000 in Clothing From Town Square Shop

The group targeted certain displays, according to police. Here are more details.

An "organized flash mob" recently took $1,083 worth of clothing from a store in Town Square Wheaton, according to a police report. The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. March 28 and involved a mob of seven people, a store employee told police at about 5 p.m. that day. They entered the business through the "inner circle doors" of Town Square Wheaton and immediately targeted certain merchandise displays. Further information, including suspect descriptions, were not immediately available at the time of this report. Nothing Bundt Cakes is now open at 421 Town Square Wheaton. The bakery carries cakes made fresh daily in sizes ranging from bite-sized "Bundtinis" and single servings to 8" cakes, 10" cakes and two-tier cakes. Flavors vary, including white chocolate raspberry, cinnamon swirl, carrot, red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, pecan praline. The stores also carry gifts and decorations, from cake platters and pottery to candles, snacks and aprons. Ale House Restaurant to Open in Town Square Wheaton

Warren Ale House, a full-service restaurant and pub, opens at 51Town Square in Wheaton next fall.

A full-service restaurant and pub will open in the former Red Robin space in Wheaton next fall, Town Square spokesman Stacy Jones said Wednesday. Warren Ale House will open in the 7,000-square-foot restaurant space at 51 Town Square. The tentative opening is October, Jones said. She said Warren Ale House is the first of its kind. Wheaton's Director of Economic Development Jim Kozik told Triblocal the restaurant's owner and architect have met with city officials, but have not yet applied construction permits.
