Phone Hidden in Bushes, Elevator Panels Stolen, Public Intoxication: Police Blotter
Wheaton police reports, Aug. 20-21
TUESDAY, AUG. 21 Someone stole $5,000 in wood panels from an elevator in the 100 block of Liberty Drive around 12:30 p.m. Police issued local ordinance citations of public intoxication and obstructing an officer to Geraldo Valle, 24, of the 700 block of Liberty Drive. Valle was cited in the 200 block of Karlskoga around 2 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day. Police charged Guillermo Urbide, 32, of Glendale Heights with an FTA warrant for DUI and resisting arrest. He was cited at around 9 a.m. and taken to DuPage County Jail.
