The 49-year-old Wheaton man charged last week with 15 counts of aggravated possession of child pornography has been a registered sexual predator in Illinois since 2005, according to the Illinois sex offender website. Randall Weeks, of Juniper Lane in Wheaton was charged May 9 as a result of an undercover operation conducted by Wheaton police detectives, with the assistance of the DuPage County Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division. Court records show he plead guilty in 2005 to charges of possession of child pornography. He is currently being held at the DuPage County Jail on $500,000 bail. A 49-year-old Wheaton man was recently arrested after an undercover operation connected him to child porn, police said. Randall W. Weeks, was charged with 15 counts of aggravated possession of child pornography. Weeks is currently a court-ordered registered sex offender, according to a Wheaton Police Department news release. Weeks was arrested on May 9 as a result of an undercover operation conducted by Wheaton police detectives, with the assistance of the DuPage County Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division. Eric Pence, charged with child pornography, grooming and traveling to meet a minor will undergo a sex offender evaluation.
A Wheaton teen will undergo a sex offender evaluation as part of his case on charges he tried to arrange a meeting for sex with a young girl, court records show. Eric Pence was arrested in September after police investigated complaints from the girl's parents about Pence, who reportedly had lewd images of the girl on his phone. Prosecutors allege Pence wanted to meet the 12-year-old at the Wheaton Library for sexual activity. Pence, 19, of the 0-100 block of Circle Avenue in Wheaton turned himself in to Wheaton police Friday, Sept. 7, according to a press release. Police arrested Thomas Czajka of Warrenville, also for being a fugitive from justice, obstructing and resisting a peace officer, obstruction of identification, attempted child molestation (Maricopa County, AZ warrant), petition to revoke probation (Jacksonville County, IL warrant) and driving on a suspended license. Police arrested William Lee Tomim of the 500 block of Pershing Avenue in Wheaton for failure to register as a sex offender. Tomim, 38, described as a white adult male, 5'5" and 185 pounds, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 14 at 5:20 p.m. Patch reports on law enforcement activity in our town, using information provided by official agencies. Does he live in Wheaton now? He is listed on the Illinois sex offender list as on Juniper Lane (Unincorporated Glen Ellyn). However, I had to put in 60187 or Wheaton to see his record. I think it needs to be corrected either way so we can at least know where he is living. It is too important to be entered incorrectly. more ›
