Wheaton Athlete Recognized for Academic Achievement

Wheaton native Meghan Pipal named to the All-Academic Team by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference for academic achievement.

The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) has recognized Wheaton resident Meghan Pipal for her academic achievements by being naming her to the All-Academic Team for the fall in 2012. Pipal is a senior at Olivet Nazarene University, majoring in elementary education and competing in women's soccer. To be nominated for this award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his or her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and have earned no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average. Two Wheaton Residents Honored in College Athletics

Two Wheaton residents recognized by Olivet Nazarene University for their achievements on the women's softball and soccer teams.

Olivet Nazarene University recently recognized two of its athletes, both Wheaton residents, for their achievements while participating and competing in the Tiger athletics program. Bethany Holaway, a senior majoring in psychology during the 2012-2013 academic year, was named a 2012 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete for her work on the softball team.
