OMG PD: Valentino Purse Poached, Rude Drinkers

ST. CHARLES Nicole M. Pstrong, 33, of the 200 block of Cedar Avenue, was cited at 4:45 a.m. Feb. 9 at her home with disorderly conduct-noise after officers were called to the residence twice on noise complaints. Police said the first time, at 4:16 a.m., while no one would answer the door, someone called out, “Go away, we’re drinking,” and the loud music was turned down. Still no one answered, and the officer left. Police were called back at 4:45 a.m., and this time the officer’s knock on the door was answered. Pstrong was issued the citation. GENEVA Someone took a Valentino Rockstud leopard calf hair hobo shoulder bag from Jobella, 310 Campbell St., sometime between 2 p.m. Jan. 26 and noon Jan. 30, Geneva police report. The store owner …

Hate to say it but there are trucks that drive around take free liberty of things they see anywhere close to the street. I guess if the police called them on it they would say they thought the person was throwing the goods out or giving them away. Too bad no one lays down ground rules. Just don't leave anything near the street these days unless you intend to give the item away. more ›
