DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba receives 2013 Court Security Professional of the Year award from National Sheriff's Association.
DuPage County Sheriff John E. Zaruba was awarded with the 2013 Court Security Professional of the Year award by the National Sheriffs’ Association. He was presented with this honor on Feb. 2 at the National Sheriffs Association Annual Winter Conference in Washington, DC. Doesn't the County have insurance to cover the $1 Million award to an employee due to discrimination by the Sheriff? Why is this award against the Office of the Sheriff and not Zaruba personally? Why is the DuPage Co. State's Attorney serving as Zaruba's personal attorney for actions taken that violate federal law?
