Wheaton Man Sentenced in Overdose Death
Man sentenced in heroin overdose death used bleach in his attempt to clear the scene of a woman's death last November. He was sentenced to three years in jail Wednesday, the Daily Herald reports.
A DuPage County judge sentenced a Wheaton man to three years in prison after the pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges related to a woman's overdose death last November, the Daily Herald reports. Edward Kliest, 43, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, after selling heroin to Jennifer Andolfi, 37, shortly before she died in a Carol Stream apartment, according to the Herald. According to a release from the DuPage County State's Attorney, Kliest made arrangements with the victim to meet at a relative's apartment to sell her heroin. Kleist allegedly sold the drugs to the woman, who went into a bathroom do do the drug and went unconscious, according to the release. Kliest then left the apartment and returned later with Tiffany …
