Salon Bandit Charged in DuPage Robberies; Faces Maximum of 120 Years in Prison for DuPage Incidents

Jason Logsdon, 41, of the 900 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, was charged with four armed robberies in DuPage County. He was charged earlier in the week in Cook County. He faces up to 120 years in prison.

An Evanston man already charged in 11 business and hair salon robberies in the Cook County was charged Friday with robbing a Glen Ellyn Great Clips, along with three other businesses in Lombard. Jason Logsdon, 41, of the 900 block of Chicago Avenue, Evanston, was charged with allegedly robbing four DuPage County businesses in the past two months, according to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin. He was charged with four counts of armed robbery, each a Class X Felony punishable by up to 30 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. The law allows for the sentences to be served consecutively, making it possible that Logsdon could serve a maximum sentence of 120 years. Logsdon was charged earlier in the week with robbing 11 …

Hair Salon Bandit Gets Clipped in Elmhurst; DuPage County Charges Possible

The Cook County State's Attorney's Office Charged an Evanston man with 11 counts of armed robbery Wednesday. The man is believed to be behind robberies in Glen Ellyn and Lombard.

By Mary Ann Lopez, Glen Ellyn Patch An Evanston man who may be behind the armed robbery of a Glen Ellyn hair salon on January 3, is now in police custody, charged with robbing nearly a dozen salons in the northern suburbs.  Jason Logsdon, 41, of the 900 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was charged with 11 counts of armed robbery, all Class X felonies. Police believe Logsdon is responsible for a total of 15 robberies, but the remaining four occurred in DuPage County. That county is still continuing its investigation, according to a story in Skokie Patch. He was arrested in the 200 block of Lake Street in Elmhurst Monday a few hours after a robbery took place on the North Side, according to Skokie Patch. Police believe Logsdon may be …
