Robert Kolbe of Wheaton wins $250,000 in Nov. 16 Mega Millions drawing.

Robert Kolbe of Wheaton won in the Illinois Mega Millions drawing earlier this month, collecting $250,000 from the Nov. 16 drawing.  Kolbe said in a statement he plays a few dollars a week and has won $150 numerous times, but this is his first big win. He matched the first five numbers—05, 24, 26, 29, 53, according to a press release. "When I saw that I won, I had to check my ticket again and again to make sure it was indeed a winner. I like to check my tickets online because it's coming straight from the Lottery and narrows the margin of error, so I knew for sure I was a winner," he said.  Let Patch save you time.
