Illegal Weapon Use, Underage Drinking: Juvenile Arrests

Wheaton police report juvenile arrests, March 1-8.

FRIDAY, MARCH 8 Police charged a 14-year-old boy with theft at Wheaton Warrenville South High School. MONDAY, MARCH 4 Police charged a 16-year-old boy with battery at Wheaton Warrenville South High School.  FRIDAY, MARCH 1 Police charged a 12-year-old boy with aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon at Franklin Middle School. Police Charge Woman With Stun Gun in Car

During car check, officer finds stun gun in Warrenville woman's car.

Updated, originally posted 5:58 a.m. Tuesday on: Illegal Weapon Use, Harassment, Trespassing: Police Blotter Police charged Ena Smith-Greer, 35, of Warrenville Monday, Feb. 11, with driving on a suspended license and unlawful use of a weapon. She drove a silver 2000 Chevy Impala near the intersection of Park Avenue and Warrenville Road around 8:45 p.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night. Police said during a car check related to Smith-Greer's suspended license charge, the arresting officer found a stun gun in her car. According to Illinois statute, it is illegal to carry or own a stun gun in any vehicle unless it is broken down, not functional or inaccessible. The stun gun…

FRIDAY, FEB. 15 Police found graffiti on the back doors of a vacant storefront in the 200 block of North Gables Boulevard around 12:15 a.m. THURSDAY, FEB. 14 Police charged Zachary Clarke, 18, of Winfield with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. He was arrested in the 2000 block of North Main Street around 11:50 a.m. and released on the scene. Police charged Mason Demetrious, 20, of the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard in Wheaton with obstructing identification. He was arrested in the 1700 block of East 22nd Street around 3:30 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.
