Obituary courtesy of Hultgren Funeral Home: Ross Kenneth MacNeill, age 11, left with Jesus at 11:54 p.m., Monday, May 13th, 2013. He was in his home, with his family by his side. He had a courageous 4-year battle with brain cancer. He was born March 8, 2002. He is the son of Ross and Kim MacNeill, and the brother of Rachel. He was born October 28, 1921, in Bloomingdale, IL. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jeanne Rosenwinkel, nee Coffer; his children, James, Lori, and John (Cinda); his grandchildren, Drew, Louissa, Tara, and Eric; his brother Robert (Carol); and sister Eleanor (Carl) Ross. Obituary courtesy of Hultgren Funeral Home: Robert Theodore Wright, age 85, a resident of the Wheaton area, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. He was born February 10,1928 to Joshua and Mable Wright in Oceanside, California. Bob had one sister, Mary Bartlett. Bob accepted Christ as a boy of nine years of age. He was regularly encouraged by a Sunday School teacher, who wrote him yearly on his birthday until her death. Because of the hardship of his childhood life, Bob turned to reading and books became his best friend. His mother often lived close to the library and Bob spent many hours in the library reading books. Reading was his primary hobby, even into adulthood. He …

Obituary courtesy of Hultgren Funeral Home: Joseph J. Lundgren, age 41, a resident of Iowa City, Iowa, died of an accident May 6, 2013, in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born September 11, 1971, in Park Ridge, Illinois. Growing up in Bloomingdale, IL, Joe was active in baseball, soccer, and swimming. He attended Wheaton Christian Grammar School, where he was deeply impacted by his loving teachers. He also attended Lake Park High School and Wheaton North High School. In recent years he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his children. He worked as a construction laborer. Joe gave his life to Christ in 2010 and was baptized on May 14, 2011. Obituary courtesy of Hultgren Funeral Home: Craig Edward Eben, age 82, a resident of Naperville and formerly a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 8, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois to Edward and Lenore Eben. After graduating from High School, he enlisted and served in the Army as a Sergeant. He held a Masters Degree from UW Madison, preceded by a Bachelor's Degree from UW LaCrosse. Craig worked for the Wheaton Warrenville School District 200 as a teacher and District-wide Director followed by Media Specialist at Benedictine University. He then enjoyed his retirement years with Betsey traveling the world and settling at a "snow-bird" home in Florida for the winters. …

She was born May 29, 1959. Born in Cicero, IL, she and her family moved to Glen Ellyn when she was nine. She studied dance at the Bobby River's Dance Studio in Glen Ellyn, where she later taught tap and ballet. She attended the Glen Ellyn public schools and graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1977. She met Chris Heidorn later that year and they married on November 10, 1979. For over 62 years, Janet Jorden was his loving and supportive bride. He is survived by all nine children Sandy Morad, Debra Beene, Paul Jorden, Jr., Beth Lindner, Judy Joiner, Sue Zivney, Jim Jorden, Kris Jorden and Jenny Meyer. He leaves a legacy of loving care for 25 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Dr. Jorden was born May 26, 1927, in Millvale, PA. He served in the Navy in WW II as a Seaman 2nd class 20 mm gunner. During her career in higher education she worked for the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL as the Associate Dean for Health, Social and Behavioral Sciences. Prior to holding that position she was an Off-Campus Associate Dean for the College of DuPage at the Westmont Center. She was employed at the College of DuPage beginning in 1990 until 2005 when she retired. While residing in Connecticut, she worked at Middlesex Community College as an Associate Dean, as well. Obituary courtesy of Hultgren Funeral Home: Jacob Stob, age 95, a resident of Warrenville, formerly of Wheaton, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Naperville. He was born on March 1, 1918. Jacob enlisted in the US Army just before Pearl Harbor. After the war he married Klarien Groenewold. He worked for Western Electric for 35 years and 2 months and retired in 1981. During retirement he remained very active, working with Meals on Wheels, PADS, and helping others with landscaping and yardwork. He loved family activities and enjoyed traveling.
