Glen Ellyn, Lombard Men Charged in Weekend Home Invasion

Andrew Cotton and Ryan Berry, of the 300 block of Scott Avenue, Glen Ellyn and Anthony Nutoni, of the 600 block of Edgewood Street, Lombard were charged with two counts of home invasion while armed.

Wheaton Man Charged in Glen Ellyn Home Invasion Sunday Night

Jeffrey H. Beard, 64, of the 1400 block of Avery Avenue, Wheaton, was charged with home invasion after he entered a Glen Ellyn home brandishing a gun and threatened the occupants.

A Wheaton man has been charged in an armed home invasion that took place Sunday night in Glen Ellyn, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. Jeffrey H. Beard, 64, of the 1400 block of Avery Avenue, Wheaton, was charged with home invasion after he allegedly armed himself with a gun and entered the home of a Glen Ellyn woman who was an acquaintance, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s office. Beard entered the home at 10:30 p.m. Sunday armed with a gun, according to the State’s Attorney’s Office. The resident was in the home with her boyfriend at the time of the incident.
