Gun Stolen in Break-in, DUI, Drugs: Police Blotter

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 23 Someone stole a $100 cell phone from an unattended bag in the girls locker room at Wheaton North High School between 2:15 and 4 p.m. Police charged Alyssa Sandoval, 20, of Winfield, in a theft that occurred between Jan. 1 and Jan. 23 at Target, 601 County Farm Rd. She was arrested at Target around 6 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night. Someone stole a $40 lottery ticket from an apartment in the Apartments at Wheaton Center. A resident told police he saw a chair had been used to prop open the apartment door and that someone entered the apartment between 12 and 1:30 p.m., moved a bunch of things around and stole the lottery ticket.
