Obituary courtesy of Williams-Kampp Funeral Home: Florence was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 11, 1932. Her parents were Donald and Florence Flaherty. Beloved wife of Thomas Duhig married June 6th, 1953 at St. Michael Church in Union, New Jersey. They took up residence in Newark, New Jersey. She is the loving mother of nine children: Thomas (Kim), Kevin (Cheryl), Patricia (Rick) Carney, Michael, Mary (John) Zaruba, Matthew (Tracy), Eileen (Todd) Tarter, Susan, and James (Susan). Fond grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. They resided in Union New Jersey for 9 years and Maple Wood New Jersey for 4 years before they moved to Wheaton in 1970.
