The rescheduled Wheaton-Warrenville PTA Council candidate forum for the District 200 Board of Education race will be 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Wheaton North High School. Nine candidates have submitted their names to run for four seats up for election to the District 200 Board of Education in the 2013 election. Early voting ends this Saturday, April 6. Barb says she looks "forward to serving our community with four more years of ... prudent fiscal management..." Spending nearly $1 million on turf -- the day after taxpayers said NO to a tax increase -- is not prudent at this time, particularly when she and the rest of the board can't part with any money to improve Jefferson. This is stupidity at its finest.   more ›
