Yes, Barb approved Catalani's pension spike, and end of career salary spiking for teachers, and overspending which lead to teacher lay offs, program cuts and the need for tax anticipation warrants to make payroll in May - 2010 and 2011. She is a lovely woman. However, remember when Dr Catalani received 20% per year salary spike so that his initial pension would be about the same as his salary was when he announced his retirement? The Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters will host a candidate forum for the District 200, City Council and Wheaton Park District elections on Thursday, March 14.

The Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and League of Women's Voters will host a candidate forum for candidates in the District 200, City Council and Wheaton Park District elections Thursday, March 14, at the Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard St., Wheaton. Candidates in contested races will have two minutes each to give opening statements. The Wheaton-Warrenville PTA Council will host a District 200 Board of Education candidate forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Wheaton North High School.
