Wheaton police reports, Aug. 22-26
SUNDAY, AUG. 26 Police charged Romeo Garcia-Sandoval, 31, of the north 100 block of Nepil in Wheaton with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license. Garcia-Sandoval drove a maroon 1996 Chevy Blazer near the intersection of Liberty Drive and West Street around 12:20 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night. SATURDAY, AUG. 25 Police charged John Fuechtmann, 30, of Westchester with driving under the influence of drugs. Fuechtmann drove a black 2008 Subaru near the intersection of Butterfield and Naperville roads around 1:20 a.m. when police stopped him.
