DUI, Drugs, Church Sign Vandalized: Police Blotter

Wheaton police reports, Jan. 31-Feb. 10

SUNDAY, FEB. 10 Someone defaced the cedar sign in front of a church in the 900 block of Union Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7 a.m. Feb. 10. SATURDAY, FEB. 9 Police charged Nicholas Arias, 19, of Lombard with driving under the influence of drugs. He drove a gray 2006 Hyundai Tucson near the intersection of President Street and Taft Avenue around 1:35 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning. Police charged Lauren Allen, 22, of Aurora with driving without a license. Wheaton police report two juvenile arrests Oct. 15 and 17.

Adult arrests courtesy of Glen Ellyn and Naperville Patch reports: SATURDAY, OCT. 20 Connie Sue Robinson, 53, of the 1600 block of Somerset Lane in Wheaton, was arrested at 5:42 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 75th Street in Naperville, police said. She was charged with retail theft. Her bail was $1,500. SUNDAY, OCT. 14 Andrew J. Pavlis, 37, of the 1100 block of South Lorraine Road in Wheaton, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Nicoll Way, Glen Ellyn police said. Felony Burglary, DUI, Underage Drinking, Drugs: Police Blotter

Wheaton police reports, Oct. 15-18

THURSDAY, OCT. 18 Police said they charged Zam Thang, 42, of Glen Ellyn with a warrant related to a charge of driving under the influence from July 26 near the intersection of President Street and Roosevelt Road. He was arrested around 8:45 a.m. at the DuPage County Courthouse, 505 County Farm Road, and taken to DuPage County Jail. Police said they charged Robert Gorman, 22, of the 400 block of Crescent Street in Wheaton, with felony burglary from a car, criminal damage to a car and trespassing a car around 12:40 a.m. in the 300 block of East Seminary Avenue. Wheaton police reports, Oct. 10-14, include DUI charges and stolen jewelry

SUNDAY, OCT. 14 Police said they charged Esteban Manuel, 27, of Lisle with driving without a license. Manuel drove a green 1997 Nissan in the 300 block of Rice Lake Square around 5:20 p.m. when police stopped him, according to reports. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day. Police said they charged Sebastien DuFort, 39, of Hinsdale with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegally transporting liquor and resisting and obstructing an officer. DuFort drove a black 2008 Nissan near the intersection of Gary Avenue and Geneva Road around midnight when police stopped him, according to reports. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 Police charged Timothy Beguhl, of the 1800 block of President Street in Wheaton with driving under the influence of alcohol. Beguhl, 33, drove a white 2002 Ford Explorer near the intersection of Farnham and President streets around 12:30 a.m. when police stopped him.
