DUI, Drugs, Church Sign Vandalized: Police Blotter

Wheaton police reports, Jan. 31-Feb. 10

SUNDAY, FEB. 10 Someone defaced the cedar sign in front of a church in the 900 block of Union Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7 a.m. Feb. 10. SATURDAY, FEB. 9 Police charged Nicholas Arias, 19, of Lombard with driving under the influence of drugs. He drove a gray 2006 Hyundai Tucson near the intersection of President Street and Taft Avenue around 1:35 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning. Police charged Lauren Allen, 22, of Aurora with driving without a license. She drove a white 2001 Dodge Stratus near the intersection of Leask Lane and Butterfield Road around 9:10 a.m. when police stopped her. She was released on the scene. Wheaton Police Report Identity Theft, Church Vandalism

Wheaton police report identity theft and vandalism.

The following identity theft and vandalism reports are from the Wheaton Police Department: A resident in the 500 block of Turf Lane in Wheaton reported identity theft after someone made illegal purchases on her card between noon Saturday, May 12 and noon Sunday, May 13.
