Police Blotter: Theft at Wheaton Restaurant, $500 Stolen from Purse

MONDAY, JUNE 11 Someone stole cash from Smashburger, 1 Rice Lake Square, between 11 p.m. Sunday, June 10 and 7 a.m. Monday, June 11. Smashburger employees recently reported a burglary, after someone shattered one of the restaurant's doors between 11 p.m. Thursday, May 24 and 7 a.m. Friday, May 25 to break in and tried to access the safe without success. Someone stole $250 in clothes that a woman left in a garbage bag at the edge of her driveway in the 1200 block of Prairie Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday, June 11 and 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.
