TUESDAY, NOV. 20 Someone went into an unlocked Chevy Malibu parked in a driveway in the 200 block of Kellogg Place between 8 and 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20. Nothing was stolen, police said. Police charged Ermila Perez, 25, of West Chicago with stealing clothing from Kohl’s, 401 County Farm Road around 8 p.m. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night. Police charged Jesus Ramirez-Vazquez, 30, of Chicago with driving without a license. Wheaton police reports, May 12-28
MONDAY, MAY 28 A resident in the 0-100 block of Kensington Circle reported a burglary after someone stole $450 in cell phones and $40 cash. According to the police report, the intruder entered the unlocked apartment between 3:45 and 5 p.m. and took two phones and cash. SUNDAY, MAY 20-FRIDAY, MAY 25 Someone shot small pellets through three windows at Church of the Resurrection in the 900 block of Union Avenue in Wheaton between 5 p.m. Sunday, May 20 and 9 a.m. Friday, May 25. Thirteen burglaries to automobiles occurred in Wheaton between the late evening hours of Dec. 31 and the early morning hours of Jan. 1, according to a press release from Wheaton police. The burglaries occurred on the 600 block of Glendale Avenue, the 1500 block of Hill Street, the 300 block of North Prospect Street, the 100 block of South Prospect Street, the 1600 block of Sawyer Avenue, the 100 block of South Summit Street, the 100 block of Traverse Lane, the 300 block of North Wood Street and the 1600 block of West York Lane. Each of the vehicles was unsecured. Thieves entered the unlocked vehicles and removed valuable items. Between late evening yesterday, Thursday, Sept. 23 and early morning today, Friday, Sept. 24, two downtown Wheaton businesses were broken into.
Between the late evening of Sept. 23, 2010 and the early morning hours of Sept. 24, 2010, two downtown Wheaton business establishments were broken into according to a press release from the Wheaton Police Department. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry to the rear door of the Pad Thai Restaurant located at 563 W. Liberty Drive. Once inside, the unknown suspect(s) removed currency. The total value of the currency has yet to be determined. In the second burglary, unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a rear window of The Squire Tailor Shop located at 103 E.
