Wheaton police reports, May 7-11
SATURDAY, MAY 11 Police served James Hicks, 55, of the 1300 block of Kingsberry Lane, Hanover Park, with a Wheaton police arrest warrant for criminal trespass to real property. Hicks was arrested at 11:49 p.m. on the 2000 block of West Lake Street, police said. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and then transferred early the next day to the DuPage County Jail, where he remains on $200 bond, according to jail records. FRIDAY, MAY 10 Someone took $30 from a wallet located in a weight room storage cubicle on the 600 block of East Kenilworth Avenue. TUESDAY, AUG. 21 Someone stole $5,000 in wood panels from an elevator in the 100 block of Liberty Drive around 12:30 p.m. Police issued local ordinance citations of public intoxication and obstructing an officer to Geraldo Valle, 24, of the 700 block of Liberty Drive. Valle was cited in the 200 block of Karlskoga around 2 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day. Police charged Guillermo Urbide, 32, of Glendale Heights with an FTA warrant for DUI and resisting arrest. He was cited at around 9 a.m. and taken to DuPage County Jail.
