Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from Animal Rescue Foundation – IL (ARF) and the DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Goose is a 7-year-old Puggle that came to the shelter because his owners were moving and couldn’t take him with. Since being at the shelter the staff has noticed that he is destined to be a superstar! He loves to play fetch and will put on a crowd-pleasing show doing it. He is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is all set to find a forever home filled with lots of tennis balls. Faith came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control as a stray. When she arrived at the shelter she weighed in at a hefty 18 lbs. The DCACC staff is proud to say that she has lost a pound! They believe that with just a little exercise she will continually lose more weight. Faith absolutely loves being around people. That staff often lets her hang out in the office as they work. Coco Coco is 5-month-old, female, pit-bull mix. She came into DuPage County Animal Care and Control because her tail knocks over the baby in the house. Being a puppy she is still very playful and happy. Due to her happy tail we recommend that she not go home with kids under the age of 7. Coco is very sweet and loves to be around people. Diana is a beautiful adult long-haired Calico mix. She will be a fantastic companion cat, is fully vetted and ready to go to the right home. Her adoption fee has been subsidized for any approved applicant. ARF will check references to ensure our animals go to the right homes regardless of subsidized adoption fees.
