Daily Herald reports that the Classics show choir will perform for Jane Lynch.
The Wheaton Warrenville South Classics Show Choir will sing to Emmy-winning actress Jane Lynch on ABC7 for Monday's "Windy City Live," show, the Daily Herald reported Friday. Lynch plays a villainous character on TV's hit series, "Glee," and will be in Chicago to promote her book "Happy Accidents." The Classics won the 2011 FAME National Championships in Indianapolis last spring, and are experienced ABC7 performers. The Classics won the ABC7 "Show Choir Showdown" in May, when four high school show choirs competed for votes after morning performances on the show.
Voting for the ABC 7 News Show Choir Showdown ends at 7 p.m. Thursday. WWS is leading with 30 percent of the votes as of 6 p.m.
The Wheaton Warrenville South Classics Show Choir leads in votes for the winner of the ABC 7 Show Choir Showdown as of 6 p.m. Thursday 31 percent of the votes. Waubonsie Valley is in second with 29 percent, Buffalo Grove is third with 20 percent and Crete-Monee is fourth, with 18 percent. Voting ends at 7 p.m. Thursday. ABC 7 will broadcast the morning news live from the winning school on Friday morning. The Classics won the FAME National Championships in Indianapolis in late April. The three other schools performing in the showdown are the Expressions from Buffalo Grove High School, Sound Check from Waubonsie Valley High School and the Cavaliers from Crete-Monee High School.
