The Wheaton Historic Preservation Council maintains two centers in Wheaton. The first is on Front Street, and the second is here on Main Street. Located in one of Wheaton's fine historic Victorian homes, the museum offers various exhibits on Wheaton's pre-Civil War and abolitionist history and occasionally hosts events and programming for the Wheaton Historic Preservation Council, such as the annual 4th of July Stars & Stripes Brunch.
