Wheaton's Wine and Cultural Arts Festival is This Weekend

Sip, tip and vote at the wine fest in downtown Wheaton.

From the Wheaton Park District:

The inaugural Wine & Cultural Arts Festival in downtown Wheaton is this weekend in Memorial Park. 

Throughout the day on Saturday, Sept. 21, each attendee will be given the chance to vote for their favorite wine. The winning wine will be featured in downtown Wheaton restaurants for the coming year. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

While attendees taste wine, they'll have an opportunity to peruse fine art by local artists. Artisans—including painters, sculptors, glass blowers, jewelry designers, and  textile artists—will also be demonstrating their work, giving attendees a front-row seat to observe the creative process.

12:30-2P -- Mehran Jalili (Flamenco Guitarist)
2-4P -- Annalee Hooson (Singer/Guitarist)
4-6P -- Trio Bamba (Brazillian/Latin/American)

Pre-Event 
September 20, Downtown Wheaton
Downtown Wheaton businesses will offer dinner specials, in-store specials, and a sneak preview of the festival’s wines.

Tickets:
Tasting Tickets: $25 (advanced) / $30 (gate)
Fee includes entry to event, souvenir tasting glass, and twelve 1-oz samples. Must be 21 or over with valid ID.

Designated Driver Tickets: $5 
Entry fee for patrons 21+. This fee does not include tasting glass or beverage samples.

Age 20 and under = $0. No ticket required.
