Wheaton Rotary to Offer College Scholarships

Applications deadline is June 1. Rotary Club is offering three, $3,000 scholarships to Wheaton area students.

The Rotary Club of Wheaton is once again offering scholarships to Wheaton area college students (previous district 200 students) for their junior and senior years. Applicants must show that they can show financial need to complete. The application deadline is June 1st, 2012.  Scholarship applications and requirements are available at www.clubrunner.ca/wheaton.
 
The Rotary Club of Wheaton is offering up to (3) $3000 scholarships, which are available to permanent Wheaton residents that have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above on a scale of 4.0.  Recipients must show outstanding characteristics that exemplify the goals and purposes of Rotary.  Immediate relatives of Rotary Club of Wheaton are not eligible.
 
Rotary International is an organization of service clubs known as Rotary Clubs located all over the world. The purpose of the organization is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, gender, or political preference. There are 33,976 clubs and over 1.22 million members worldwide and clubs meet on a weekly basis.
