Wheaton North Grads Support Peace Corps Volunteers

Wheaton North grads have opted to show support of their fellow Wheaton natives who have joined the Peace Corps by giving up western amenities here in the States, RedEye reports.

Wheaton North graduates will give up their air conditioner, refrigerator, TV, dishwasher and some living space to support their friends in the Peace Corps in the Live Like a Peace Corps Volunteer Challenge, RedEye reported Thursday.

Michelle Kloempken, 22, and her roommate Caroline Trumpy, 23, will give up their air conditioner, dishwasher, TV, refrigerator and some living space for the challenge. They've also recruited 11 friends to participate in the challenge, which they'll write about on the challenge's blog, livelikeapcv.org.
