Week in Review: Police Arrest Man for Leaving Fatal 2009 Crash, Council Passes SSA and More

A Carbondale man was arrested Tuesday for leaving the scene of a fatal accident near the intersection of Durfee Road and Seneca Drive in Wheaton October 5, 2009. 



Wheaton City Council approved the establishment of a new Special Service Area (SSA) in downtown Wheaton, which supports the Downtown Wheaton Association. The creation of the SSA was in question when property owners filed petitions against it.

Police continue to investigate to find who wrote a threatening note on a bathroom wall at Wheaton North High School last Wednesday and again on Friday.
