Mission Fair

The Mission Outreach Committee would like to invite you to the 201I Mission Fair during the Education Hour at 9:55 a.m. Over 30 different organizations will be represented in our Ministry Center, covering many different ways that First Pres is involved in Wheaton, DuPage County and the World!

If you don't know what PADS, JUST, ESSE or NAMI stand for, or what Exodus, Daystar or Mar Elias refer to, or whatFirst Pres is doing in Calcutta, Northern Ireland, Kenya, Israel or Mexicali, then this is the gathering for you!

You will be able to speak with members of these and other missions and consider where you would like to become involved.  Refreshments will be provided.

First Presbyterian has established a new Outreach ministry in a South Chicago neighborhood  - Roseland Community Day Care.  The mission of the Day Care Center is to provide free day care for children of teenage moms, college moms, and low income moms in the Roseland community. The goal of the Day Care center is to provide Christ-centered child care in a nurturing environment and to give hope back to their community.

Ms. Pearl Willis, founder, will be with us on Sunday, April IOth at the Mission Fair to share more about the work and lives changed.  Please join us to hear her inspiring story!
