Give Thanks and Pass the Blessings

Help your neighbors in need this holiday season.

It’s just not Thanksgiving without the turkey dinner…and with the help of the community, (PRC) will provide 3,350 holiday meals for families facing hard times this Thanksgiving. For each $20 donation, PRC will provide a gift card for a turkey as well as holiday dinner trimmings to local families in need.

“Thanksgiving and food go hand-in-hand, and for our neighbors who are struggling each week to put food on the table, this time of year is a stark reminder of their hardship,” said Kim Perez, PRC’s Executive Director. “As more and more families continue to face these challenges, we are very thankful for the generous support from our community.”

To share your blessings with others this holiday season, visit PRC’s secure website, www.peoplesrc.org. Or send a check, with “Thanksgiving” on the memo line, to People’s Resource Center, 201 S. Naperville Road, Wheaton IL 60187. If total donations exceed Thanksgiving need, PRC will purchase additional food to help keep PRC’s Food Pantry shelves stocked all year round.
