Wheaton Ale Fest 2012 is Aug. 4

VIP tickets for Wheaton Ale Fest 2012 are sold out, but general admission tickets remain for the Aug. 4 event.

Beer brings friends together, craft beer brings communities together—to the second annual Aug. 4 in .

There will be 125 styles of beers to sample from more than 50 local and national craft brewers. From noon to 4 p.m., enjoy the brews and summer weather with your friends. Vote for your favorite Illinois craft beer as we award the coveted Illinois All-Star Ale Award to the top vote recipient. The Wheaton Ale Fest is a celebration of great craft beer and the cool people that enjoy it.

Wheaton Ale Fest is hosted by the Wheaton Park District, produced by Brewfest Partners, all in cooperation with CASA DuPage.

General Admission tickets are $40 and include a commemorative pint glass for unlimited sampling. Tickets are limited to 2000 attendees.

VIP tickets are sold and were limited to 250 attendees. The $70 VIP tickets include access to the VIP seating area, a sampling pint glass, fest t-shirt, appetizers, special sampling of six rare beers, VIP access lanyards, and a special meet and greet on Wisconsin Craft Beers with brewers and reps from Lakefront Brewery, MKE Brewing, Central Waters and Hinterland.

Designated Driver tickets are only $15 and include a sampling glass for complimentary soda and water. These tickets are great for people who may not be into craft beer, but want to enjoy the festival and provide safe transportation home after the fest. They must be purchased along with a VIP or General Admission ticket.

Last year, 1,600 people attended and enjoyed Wheaton Ale Fest’s premier on Front Street. Participating breweries and patrons made the fest a success. We are expecting another great run of this safe and fun local festival, this time in beautiful Memorial Park.

Event area will be gated. No one under 21 admitted (including babies in strollers). All Designated Drivers must purchase DD tickets and cannot drink at the festival. No lawn chairs admitted. No dogs or other pets permitted on fest grounds. No alcohol permitted outside of festival grounds.
