Taste of Wheaton to Affect Weekend Downtown Traffic
The 2012 Taste of Wheaton starts Thursday in downtown Wheaton.
The 2012 starts Thursday, May 31 and ends Sunday, June 3, affecting the following traffic patterns in downtown Wheaton:
Thursday-Sunday
- Lease Lots 3, 4 and 5 will be closed for the carnival on Liberty Drive
- Liberty Drive closed between Wheaton Avenue and Cross Street
- Karlskoga Avenue closed between North Wheaton Avenue and North Hale Street
- Wheaton Avenue closed between Seminary and Union
- Hale Street closed between Union and Front Street, and
- South Hale, between Liberty Drive and Willow Avenue will be changed from one-way to two-way traffic.
Friday, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

The temporary location for the will be on Reber Street, between East Liberty Drive and East Willow Avenue.
