Swimming Pools Open in Wheaton

Get your swimmies on. It's pool time.

Wheaton's public pools, , 1777 Blanchard St. opens today and in Northside Park opens tomorrow.

Here is some important information for you if you're planning to hang poolside all summer:

Hours of Operation

Starting today, the hours at Rice Pool until Aug. 20 are:

• Weekdays, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Saturdays, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Sundays, 12-8 p.m.

Starting tomorrow, Jun. 7 the hours at Northside Family Aquatic Center until Aug. 19 are:

• Weekdays, 12-8 p.m.
• Weekends, 12-8 p.m.

Rates, season pass

Resident rates for season passes include the following options:

• Individual: $97
• 2 family members: $134
• 3 family members: $171
• 4 family members: $208
• 5 family members: $245
• 5+ family members: $37 for each additional family member (no maximum)
• Seniors: $92
• Senior couple: $129

Daily fees

Daily resident fees, Northside Family Aquatic Center:

• Children, 17 and under: $5
• Adult, 18 and over: $8.25
• Senior, 60 and over: $5

Daily resident fees, Rice Pool:

• Children, 17 and under: $5.50
• Adult, 18 and over: $8.75
• Senior, 60 and over: $5.50
