Wheaton Community Sidewalk Sale is Saturday

The Wheaton Park District community sidewalk sale is Saturday, June 16 at the Community Center, 1777 Blanchard St.

Sellers and shoppers from all over the county are invited to join the open community sidewalk sale in the parking lot of the Wheaton Park District Community Center and Rice Water Park, Saturday, June 16, from 8A-2P.

  • Sellers: Completed your spring cleaning? Make space in your home and put cash in your pocket by reserving a spot to sell all the stuff you no longer need.
  • Shoppers: Looking for toys or books to stash away for the summer dull-days? How about kitchen items to outfit a recent grad? Browse the aisles for “trash-to-treasure” surprises all in one place. What a green way to shop!

Sellers pay $35 if Wheaton Park District residents, $44 if not, to reserve a spot for the easiest not-in-your-garage sale you’ll ever do. Enjoy plenty of pre-sale advertising through Facebook, www.wheatonparkdistrict.com and inclusion in an email blast to 11,000 local residents!

When it’s all over, you’ll also have the opportunity to donate leftover items to a charity providing on-site pick-up. To reserve your spot, register online at www.wheatonparkdistrict.com, or visit the Community Center to sign up.

All ages are invited to shop or sell.  Children under age 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
