Wheaton Warrenville South Golfer Takes 4th in State Final

Wheaton Warrenville South senior Renee Solberg takes fourth place in state final. Team finishes 10th overall.

Wheaton Warrenville South senior Renee Solberg placed fourth in individual play at the Double-A girls' state golf tournament Friday at Hickory Hills Golf Club in Decatur, according to the IHSA website.

Solberg tied with two other golfers with a 3-over-par 75.

The second round was canceled Saturday due to rain.

The Wheaton Warrenville South team placed 10th overall, shooting a combined 68-over-par 356.

The other individual scores that counted towards Wheaton Warrenville South's team score included seniors Camille Granberry's and Erika Murphy's 99 and senior Skylar Brooks' 101.
