Wheaton Senior 5th in State Three-Point Contest

Wheaton North senior Maddie Baillie tied for fifth place Saturday at the Illinois High School Association three-point competition in Normal.

After hitting 11-15 in the first two rounds of the contest, she advanced downstate with a 10-15 effort. Thirty-two other girls from all over the state advanced downstate to shoot at Redbird Arena, Illinois State.

Baillie ended the contest—and also her high school career—in fifth place. She is still in the recruiting process to determine where she will play for the next four years.
