Wheaton's Reilly O'Toole Could Start for Illinois at Arizona State

Former Tiger quarterback Reilly O'Toole could start for Illinois in place of Nathan Scheelhaase as he recovers from injuries, the Daily Herald Reports.

Wheaton Warrenville South High School grad Reilly O'Toole could be the starting quarterback for Illinois at Arizona State this weekend, the Daily Herald reported.

Illini Coach Tim Beckman told the Herald O'Toole is "neck and neck" with teammate Miles Osei for the starting position at the Saturday game.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the Illini are preparing as if Scheelhaase won't play. O'Toole said he'll have to earn the trust of his teammates heading into the game.
